We collect only what we need to answer you and to see which guides help readers.
The contact form
When you ask for a free sample policy, the form collects:
- Your name
- Your work email
- Your organization, if you add it
- What you need, if you add it
Netlify, the company that hosts our site, receives and stores form submissions for us through Netlify Forms. We use what you send to reply to you. Please keep patient information out of the form.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages are useful. It loads only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. Until you accept, and after you decline, no analytics code loads.
When analytics is on:
- Advertising features, ad storage and ad personalization stay off.
- We remove anything after a "?" in the web address before a visit is recorded.
- Google Analytics receives the page address and title, the page you came from, and the general device and browser details it collects by default.
- If you send the contact form, we record that a form was sent, its name and the page it was on. Form contents and personal details stay out of analytics.
Cookies and browser storage
- Google Analytics cookies, with names starting with _ga, are set only after you accept.
- binder_consent, kept in your browser's local storage, remembers whether you chose Accept or Decline.
- binder_lead_pending, kept in session storage, notes that you just sent the form so the thanks page can count it. It is removed after the thanks page uses it, or when you close the tab.
- Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to download them.
Change your choice
Use the Cookie choices button in the footer to bring the banner back and pick Accept or Decline. Cookies that Google Analytics already set stay until you clear them in your browser settings.
Selling data
We do not sell your personal information.
